Seacoast Diversified, Inc. changed name to EnviroVantage, Inc. in 2006

Seacoast Diversified, Inc.. was founded in 1985 by President Scott Knightly to fill the historic building restoration needs of Seacoast and Southern New Hampshire. While working on and restoring older properties throughout New England, our employees were constantly working with lead painted components. At that point in time there were no Federal, State, Local or OSHA regulations governing the lead removal process in construction.

Realizing there was a tremendous need for lead paint inspection and abatement in the state, Seacoast Diversified's team started a new division of the company to focus on lead abatement. In 1989, Scott formed Lead Source which was the first licensed lead abatement contractor in the State of New Hampshire (Lic C001), and he became the first Private Lead Inspector in the State of New Hampshire utilizing a state-of-the-art Warrington XRF lead detection unit with a Cobalt-57 source. As Lead Source employees honed their skills and the company became well established in the field of lead abatement, it became apparent that many of their projects also involved additional environmental contaminants such as asbestos, mold, PCBs, mercury and other hazardous materials. As these issues arose in the early years, Lead Source trained and equipped its already highly qualified staff to handle these conditions as well.

In 2006, after a 20-year evolutionary process of introducing additional services, we realized that it was time to change our name to more accurately depict what we had developed into a nationwide "one stop source for lead paint, asbestos, mold, demolition, and environmental clean-up."

EnviroVantage, Inc. was born.

We will continue to lead the industry in environmental clean-up. Our new 14,000 square foot facility centrally located in Epping, New Hampshire, houses our US distribution and shop facility as well as a comfortable and spacious training facility, which can be utilized by our clients free of charge for educational training.
