Scott Knightly of EnviroVantage was recently appointed as the 2nd Vice Chair of the Associated Builders and Contractors NH/VT chapter.
Knightly, Owner and President of EnviroVantage, is already a member of the organization’s Board of Directors. In his newly appointed position, he will be responsible for supporting the efforts of the organization through his work with the President and 1st Vice Chair.
In addition to his latest honor, Knightly currently sits on the Board of Directors for the National Demolition Association, the Asbestos Advisory Board for the State of NH as well as the Lead Advisory Board for the State of NH.
Knightly, a graduate of the University of New Hampshire’s Whittemore School of Business and Economics, is a pioneer in the abatement industry.
His introduction to the business was through his love of restoring old homes and historic buildings in New Hampshire. While pursuing this interest, knightly constantly encountered lead paint at a time when there were no federal or state guidelines for its safe removal. Recognizing an opportunity, Knightly became New Hampshire’s first licensed lead abatement contractor. His company also specializes in demolition and the eradication of hazardous contaminants found in buildings including asbestos, mold, PCBs and mercury.
Knightly’s processes and practices that he developed as New Hampshire’s first private lead contractor were adopted as state regulations in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts.
EnviroVantage is your one stop resource for environmental clean-up serving New England and beyond now, and well in to the future.
