Asbestos Abatement

Asbestos may be found in many common materials: floor tiles and mastic, pipe and boiler insulation, roofing and siding materials, paint and wall surfacing materials, fireproofing materials, and glazing/caulking compounds. How you deal with it can affect the outcome of your project.

All projects major or minor must have a federally mandated NESHAP (National Emissions Standard for Hazardous Air Pollutants) survey completed prior to commencement of any work. This survey will document any materials containing asbestos in the project area. (Please contact our office for a list of asbestos inspection firms in your area.)

Once the asbestos-containing materials have been quantified and it has been determined that they will be impacted by the project, EnviroVantage will assist you in the development of a removal plan to best fit the project.
