New Hampshire Asbestos Abatement and Demolition Project: Phillips Exeter Academy – Central Boiler Plant (Phase I)
Asbestos Abatement and Demolition
Exeter, NH

-We value long-term relationships with clients – our relationship with Phillips Exeter Academy (PEA) began 20 years ago when PEA became our first commercial client.

-Phase I started with thousands of linear feet of asbestos removal which was resourcefully coordinated by one of EnviroVantage’s most experienced asbestos supervisors, Pete Carlburg.

-Despite the extreme conditions of the heat from the raging hot pipes, on top of the sizzling summer temperatures confined inside the containment, the asbestos workers never missed a beat.

-We are able to handle even the most dangerous tasks, as the workers needed to maneuver around live steam and gas lines.

-Never cutting corners, EnviroVantage finished the job right by coming back to coat the ceiling with fresh white paint and give the finished boiler room a clean, sharp look.

NH Abatement and Demolition Project: Kingswood Regional School
Abatement and Demolition
Wolfeboro, NH

-Especially significant project due to the large scope and fast track schedule.

-Wishing to bring the three schools up to modern operating standards as well as trying to offset heating costs with the use of geothermal heating and cooling systems, the Governor Wentworth Regional School District hired North Branch Construction as the construction manager for this colossal undertaking. North Branch then hired several local subcontractors to work on the project, including EnviroVantage.

-EnviroVantage had to gut out all the buildings to enable North Branch to coordinate the work of all the other trades as they brought the school up to modern day standards. The Kingswood Regional School project spanned three years for EnviroVantage, from 2010 to 2012.

Removal of exterior concrete stairs around a live high pressure steam vault Project: Huddleston Hall – University of NH
Removal of exterior concrete stairs around a live high pressure steam vault
Location: Durham, NH

-The steam vault below was filled with pipes and gauges making it very difficult to construct a protective barrier; however, EnviroVantage took great care and were able to make an effective barrier.

-We can do difficult work at a fast pace. With this project, we cut the stairs into four sections, weighing approximately 2 1/2 tons each. Each heavy section was supported by the chains and lull and then cut and carefully removed over 1 1/2 day time frame.

VT Demolition Project: Landmark College – Aiken Hall
Location: Putney, VT

-The project had a tight timeline requiring the roof removal to be started and finished during the week of the students’ Spring Break, and we were able to do so.

-EnviroVantage successfully removed 2 full length chimneys from the residence hall and thoroughly cleaned up all demolition debris from around the perimeter of the building.
