PCB Removal and Encapsulation

EnviroVantage has always been on the forefront of managing hazardous material abatement and continues to work closely with consultants, engineers, disposal outlets, and the New England region of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to follow approved work plans and processes for removing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).

Common PCB Scenarios:

  • Removal of PCB-contaminated caulking and paint present on floors, walls, and ceilings, and encapsulation of the removal area.
    • Detailed cleaning of surfaces and materials in additional areas to abate potentially PCB-contaminated dust.
      • PCB transformer oil, leached concrete, and asphalt.
        • Bulbs, ballasts, switches, and other electrical components.

Soil and Groundwater Remediation or Site Restoration

At EnviroVantage, we believe our work is done when your site is ready for what comes next.

This includes removal or treatment of contaminated soil and groundwater. Leeching of hazardous materials from buildings and storage tanks are a common cause that require remediation which can be managed through treatments, filtration, clean backfill, or a combination.

We prepare sites for beneficial reuse through site clearing and grubbing, erosion control, backfill, seeding, and/or vegetative cover.
