The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) recently began field trials to measure HVAC kilowatt usage before and after air duct cleaning services. Since these field trials began, an average of 40% improve in cooling at the cooling col and a 54% improvement in airflow in cubic feet per minute or CFM on the commercial systems and a 61% average improvement in cooling and an 11% improvement in CFM for residential systems was found.
