Overview and Challenges

EnviroVantage was prime contractor under the Northeast Region Facilities Reduction Program (FRP) MATOC, contract #W912DY21D0033, to perform this abatement, demolition and site restoration.

Interior abatement was completed and demolition on this project began, but when the building’s exterior walls were removed additional asbestos-containing material (ACM) was uncovered underneath the brick. This revelation significantly reduced the material that was able to be recycled on the project, but our team was able to quickly pivot the work approach to address the change of scope.
