EnviroVantage self-performed asbestos abatement and select demolition on this renovation project at the Maine Cultural Building in Augusta. Asbestos abatement included spray-on fireproofing throughout the building and select demolition included dismantling of mechanical, electrical and fire alarm systems and architectural features in order to perform abatement activities and for the building to receive mechanical upgrades in several areas.
This was a large renovation project with a scope that grew as the project went on. EnviroVantage has completed the necessary abatement and demolition work so that all new interior construction could begin and which is scheduled to be complete in 2026.
