Mold can grow even in the cleanest of buildings.

Flooding and improperly controlled excessive moisture can lead to mold, which is a naturally occurring fungi found all around us.

EnviroVantage is staffed with experts who are committed to providing a safe and dependable cleanup experience for our federal clients. We’ve also mastered the logistics of moving people, equipment, and materials in and out of buildings with tight security restrictions and limited space.

Why should you remove mold?

Certain mold spores have been found to cause health problems such as:

  • Asthma
  • A runny or blocked nose
  • Watery or red eyes
  • A dry cough
  • Skin rashes
  • A sore throat
  • Sinusitis
  • Wheezing
  • Pneumonia

This is especially true when there is concentrated, elevated mold activity. The purpose of mold remediation (or removal) is to return the indoor air quality to a more natural level.

What is the process of mold remediation?

EnviroVantage offers many methods to respond to flooding and water damage and to eliminate mold and microbes, including:

  • Gross removal of impacted materials
  • Chemical treatments
  • Ice blasting
  • Dehumidification/air exchangers
  • Ozone or hydroxyl generators
  • Mold resistant coatings
  • Identify and locate the water intrusion and/or causative moisture source that allowed the mold growth in the first place.
  • EnviroVantage has the tools such as infrared cameras as well as the ability to moisture map, to determine the scope of the mold problem and establish the most effective technique to correct it.
  • Correct the source of the problem which creates a comprehensive protocol to ensure that the source of the mold will not return.
  • Determine the best method to decontaminate the entire area and follow the prescribed procedures.
